Explanation

I'm on the demo version, on an island that I've bought using a permit. I had already placed down polyrock miners that fed into a furnace, then a cutter that split the lump up into 4 pieces, each one being 4 X 4 X 1, then into a divider. One line fed directly into a splitter, into an assembler, to bolt two of the pieces together end-to-end to create a 4 X 8 X 1 piece. The other line fed directly into a monotoner, turning the pieces black, then into an assembler to bolt two of the pieces together end-to-end to create a black 4 X 8 X 1 piece. At this point, everything seemed to be proceeding fine, everything was happily feeding through to each of the factories. Then I placed the final assembler to marry the black 4 X 8 X 1 with the white 4 X 8 X 1 together, but nothing came through the lines. I thought I would double check the conveyors, but as I did so, they then stopped feeding anything through. I've gone all the way back to the furnace, and nothing is feeding through the furnace anymore, but all the conveyors appear to be in the correct position.
