Explanation

Daily I find the game freezes up and crashes. It can happen as early as 20 mins in or as long as hours later. I'm not sure what triggers it, but it seems to related when lots of things are happening at once; for example cut/copy operation while an auto-save happens. During game play I notice the odd stutter often when panning, cut/copy, dragging large sections, etc. Eventually it just becomes a massive stutter where it completely locks up the UI, with audio still playing in the background. Steam claims the app is still running, until about a minute later then it shows a popup saying the application has stopped responding (see screenshot).
