The user interface (UI), including "Challenges" and "Progress" menus, loaded perfectly and was fully interactive. However, the actual 3D factory world and map assets remained completely invisible and unrendered.The Solution / Workaround that Fixed It:The issue was successfully resolved by manually restoring the complete save-state file trio inside the hidden Windows user directory.Navigated to the active folder:C:\Users[Username]\AppData\LocalLow\Happy Volcano\Modulus\Manually copied the save game files from the backup directory into this folder.Crucial Step: The fix required copying the complete set of three files together: level.json, map.json, and crucially shapes.json, alongside the shader configuration files.After launching the game, the map fully initialized, rendered correctly, and the city was completely restored.Technical Conclusion for Developers:The bug occurs when the shapes.json file (which handles factory geometries/connections) becomes desynchronized, corrupted, or detached from the main map.json. Without shapes.json, the engine's 3D viewport fails to render any factory assets, causing the invisible world bug while leaving the UI layer active. Ensuring all three .json files are properly overwritten and synchronized in the LocalLow folder forces a successful reload of the factory environment.
