American Gold Rush is a pixel-art mining and town-acquisition game set in the real-life gold rush of Dahlonega, Georgia, 1849. You're a scrappy miner with a worn pickaxe, an empty pack, and a growing hunger to own every deed in town.

Every day plays out the same way, and never quite the same. Wake up. Head to the mine. Dig, blast, and haul your way through procedurally generated shafts. Cash out your daily haul at the assayer. Grab supplies at the General Store. Sleep at the boarding house. Wake up sharper, better geared, and one day deeper.

The Assayer, the General Store, the Hotel, the Saloon. Earn the trust of the shop owners and eventually buy the buildings out from under them. Win when the whole town is yours.

No microtransactions. No live service. Just a small dad-and-kids studio making the kind of games we grew up on.
