Steps to Reproduce

1. Experience a situation where the player dies in a shootout.
2. Run up behind a car to avoid looking at the trunk or door.
3. Attempt to press the 'R' key to shoot.
4. Observe the reload animation playing for a brief moment.
5. Notice that the gun does not shoot.
