Explanation

Character selection system is experiencing an issue where clicking the character icon does not display the selected character on the main screen, and a different character appears at the start of the match.

This issue was created from the following Discord message:
When selecting a character, clicking the icon doesn't make the character appear on the main screen, so it’s unclear if you’ve actually selected them—and then, when the match starts, it turns out to be a completely different character.
