Explanation

Opening the steam overlay will lock whatever input you were doing. If moving, you will constantly move in that direction, etc. The most problematic of these I found was holding v. The thing that comes up locks camera movement and stops you from selecting things on the menu. Tabing out fixed it, but it caused a crash one time.
