Explanation

I launched the game normally through Steam and tried to play the tutorial, but it crashed.

I tried launching the tutorial and a single-player game multiple times, as well as tweaking my settings, but it kept crashing.

While looking for logs in the game files, I found EscapeFromPlaytime-Win64-Shipping.exe and tried launching the game directly from that executable. Only then did it work properly.
