Steps to Reproduce

1. Get 6 items
2. Merge them
3. Notice that you only get 2 of the next item
4. Lose one of the original merged items

Explanation

Whenever I accidentally merge 6 instead of 5 I don't get the extra item I merged left over and I lose it
