Explanation
Hard to explain so bear with me.
When popping out discord FMV on a vertical monitor (I have a vertical 1090 x 1920), it seemingly uses mobile ui so icons are overly large and graphics are bad (likely due to being extremely zoomed in)
How to recreate: Launch the discord version, "pop out" the application to a vertical monitor either already maximized, or maximizing before the loading page has appeared
Workaround I've found:
If you launch the game and pop it out into a horizontal layout (I personally have it launch into a square shape that's about the tallest I can get it without switching it to mobile ui). Once the loading screen has appeared, but before loading reaches 3/9, maximize the window.
This workaround generally will reduce the icons and allow zooming out far enough to be playable, and as a result the graphics don't look as bad. There are some minor issues to this workaround (The sticker album icons for example are super oversized, and the FMV logo and loading bar will remain in the original size constraints despite the background growing to fit the screen) but it's significantly more playable.
If you try to move the horizonal window to vertical after it's passed 3/9 on the loading screen (or it's fully loaded) it will just give you a black screen instructing you to return it to horizontal layout. The only way to change it is to restart the application.
How I think it should function: launching maximized on a vertical screen should default to smaller icons and zoomed out such as how it appears in the workaround. Additionally, moving the screen from a horizontal layout to a vertical layout shouldn't force a restart. Without the workaround I've found it's borderline unplayable due to the extreme zoom and oversized icons.
