Soft Lock After Opening Container While Held

Steps to Reproduce

1. Hold container,
2. open while held,
3. bam.
4. You can no longer attach containers to any other containers to fill or empty or transfer liquid ever again.

Explanation

Can't fill using mouse click. Appears to be triggered when holding a container and "opening" it while being held. If this occurs, the game is soft locked and you aren't able to fill or empty anything. Possibly ever again, I'm not sure how to fix this. I've tried restarting, saving, loading, etc.
