Steps to Reproduce

  1. Connect a Logitech G29 and bind Steer Car Left/Right [Wheel] to Axis 0
  2. Enter any car and drive
  3. Turn the wheel quickly left/right: the car's wheels lag behind and catch up only after a delay
  4. Open Options > Controls > Wheel > Advanced: the Axis 0 bar follows the wheel with no delay

Explanation

Steering wheel input lag (Logitech G29): the car's front wheels turn noticeably later and slower than the physical wheel. The raw input is not delayed: in Options > Controls > Wheel > Advanced, the Axis 0 bar follows the wheel instantly, so the delay is applied in the vehicle steering itself (looks like keyboard-style steering smoothing / rate limit applied to analog wheel input). 'Steering wheel animation sensitivity' (1 to 20) only changes the drawn wheel, not this delay. Request: when steering comes from a wheel axis, map it 1:1 to the steering angle with no smoothing, or add a steering smoothing/speed slider. G HUB: 900 deg, sensitivity 50.
