Explanation

There is a bug with either the autosave or manual save. My guess is auto save since this issue did not appear until I turned it on. It seems when auto save is turned on the manual save does not work at all even though it shows "saving" in the top corner once you decide to manual save. the game will go back to the auto save instead upon continue.
