Explanation

Despite it being day a dark shadow is surounding my car at all times, 360 degrees. The shadow moves with me and causes the game to be much darker then intended. You can see how bright the world is beyond this shadow. I'm not certain, but I do think it might have to do with how far I've travelled. I'm well past the 12 000 km mark now.
