Steps to Reproduce

  1. Starts steam.
  2. Starts Deeprockgalactic
  3. Tries to join through invite
  4. Multiplayer session has ended
  5. Tries to join random game on server list
  6. Multiplayer session has ended
  7. We try to join friend.
  8. Doesn't work.

Explanation

A friend playing on a PC - Steam can't join or host any games.

What we've tried.

  • Restarting PC.
  • Restarting router.
  • Made sure PC had a proper wired connection to router and internet service.
  • Uninstalled game and reinstalled (no mods).
  • Verified integrity of game files through Steam.
  • Made sure windows update has installed new updates (Windows 11).
  • Made sure graphics card has latest drivers.
  • Switched settings in Steam for sharing IP-adress from default to always (suggestion from Reddit post).
  • Turned off IPV6 protocol in Windows 11 settings and in the router (Suggestion in Reddit post).
  • Turned off Windows firewall.
  • Tried command in CMD "Ipconfig /flushdns"
  • Tried command in CMD "netsh winsock reset and netsh int ip reset"
  • Made sure windows clock was correct.

Valheim and Deeprockgalactic are the only games this happens. Every other game works fine.

What more should we do to fix this?
