Steps to Reproduce

  1. Run Ubuntu with KDE Plasma 6
  2. Enable "Key Repeat" under Settings > Keyboard
  3. In game attempt to use the map, get ammo or call in a drop pod. The action will being for a short period and then reset constantly.

Explanation

This is an issue with holding a key in DRG under linux running KDE Plasma 6.

The "Key Repeat" setting in KDE Plasma 6 makes text fields behave like you'd expect: holding a key will, after a delay, "spam" that key so you type more of the same character (this includes backspace etc.). Usually, this doesn't apply in games, but for some reason it affects DRG specifically.

In DRG, with this setting enabled, holding a key will briefly work, then will start spamming as if I was using a script or turbo controller. This make getting ammo, calling a drop pod or using the map impossible.

it's a mild annoyance and have only had it break in this game specifically. Disabling key repeat is a workaround, but kind of a hassle to have to do for one game specifically.

Your team is great, even if you can't or won't fix it I still send you all the best.
