Steps to Reproduce
- Spawn a Praetorian and use Unstable Lock Mechanism or Electro-Chemical Rounds.
- Tap-firing a shot at the Praetorian through armor does 17.5 damage on Hazard 5.
- Charging up full locks for your intended damage bonus still only does 17.5.
- Using 2-1-1-1-2 with a Praetorian on fire, electrocuted, and full locks results in only 17.5 until the armor plate breaks.
- The armor plates always break in an identical amount of bullets, so the +60% damage bonus does not make breaking the armor 60% faster.
- When shooting a Slasher grunt in the body with ULM, it does 20.3 damage instead of 21 (17.5 * 1.2), which is 17.5 * (1 + (0.2 * 0.8)).
- The bullet itself ignores armor just fine, but the damage bonuses still consider the full 20% resistance.
- When aiming at a Glyphid Guard at its face through its arms, it hits the arms and does 17.5 damage, as the bullet interacts with the first instance it encounters of a bug. It is unclear if this is a bug or a feature.
Explanation
Lok-1 Seeker Rounds overclock does not actually ignore armor as the description implies. The damage bonuses from the upgrade tree take the full brunt of the armor effects.
