Explanation

deep rock galactic will not start. whenever i launch through steam it runs a prompt telling me to install directX runtime, but even if i have it properly installed, it still gives me the prompt. this is also happening to a friend of mine. i've tried verifying my files, setting -dx11 and -dx12 launch options, and safe mode does not launch either. ive also tried going to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Deep Rock Galactic\Engine\Extras\Redist\en-us and running UE4PrereqSetup_x64.exe as administrator and that didnt fix it either. fresh install didnt work either. can somebody please help?
