In-Game Chat Backspace Bug: Deletes Two Characters Instead of One After Specific Events

Steps to Reproduce

1. There is an issue that probably happens because of some events that forcefully close the chat, such as loading screens.
2. The issue has not been tested yet.

Explanation

Sometimes, for an unknown reason, "backspace" button breaks for in-game chat. It works only once, deleting 2 symbols instead of 1, and then stops working until I close and open the chat again, but ever after that it still deletes 2 symbols and stops working. Bug fixes only after reloading the lobby. I searched for this bug in #bug-discussion, and it seems that it has been in the game at least for 8 years, and it happens very often for me so I'm not sure why it wasn't fixed yet
