Explanation

My husband and I were playing with a friend in another state last night and our friend was the host since we thought that would help mitigate connection issues. However, I experienced lag (rubberbanding) and being disconnected from the game several times (we played 2 matches and I got kicked 3-4 times in the first match alone). Neither my husband nor our friend had any issues until we tried having me be the host and then our friend was disconnected from the game. Hubby and I play on the same home internet (WIFI). I have a pretty powerful gaming desktop so I'm not sure why I was the only one having issues.

Intel Core i9-12900KF
32 GB RAM
B760 gaming motherboard w/WIFI
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060
1 TB each SSD and 1 HDD

Each time the game kicked me back to the rig (not completely out of the game) and I had to rejoin the game session by clicking on "Join game" under our friend's Steam name. Game files have been verified and everything's good. This happens with and without mods.
