Unable to Access Saved Game Data After Tutorial

Steps to Reproduce

1. Started DRG, entered intro video and started tutorial.
2. Exited back to HUB in order to check saves, but found nothing other than 1 'active save' as lvl 1.
3. Stopped the game and booted it up again.
4. Immediately back into lvl 1 save within HUB.
5. I went up to the 'miner community' screen in order to 'quick join drg server'. Got 5000 credits reward.
6. Already a member, but usually a quick workaround. (This might be the reason for lvl 1 objective to be stuck).
7. Looked into saves again and could find my older clouds.
8. Restored to latest save and have it all back again.
9. Went to check on assignment board, and I have lvl1 objective, with no way to reset or decline it.

Explanation

Booted up DRG. "Pressed any key". Immediate tutorial.
No problem, just gotta go into the saves and..... Uh oh.

No saves.

Stuck as lvl 1 Greenbeard. Panik

Close the game. Start up the game again.
Run up to assignment board to quickly access DRG server.
Check the saves via cloud once more.
There's the Saves... calm

Go to Assignment board to take mission and join friend.

Already have assignment:

Objective: Conquer Hoxxes IV

"Welcome aboard, miner!"

Can't close assignment or change to another assignment.

PANIK!

(Can't find a way to stop starter objective or reset it).
