Frequent Steam Socket Disconnections with 'Connection Lost' Prompt

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Sporadic in nature
  2. Could be exacerbated by using a double-NAT adapter (e.g. 4G hotspot from your phone via USB)

Explanation

DRG experiences frequent Steam socket disconnections multiple times per day with no option to reconnect once you have been presented with the 'Connection lost' prompt.
However if you alt+f4 when you notice the disconnect (dwarves walking into walls), but before the game times out (presents you with the disconnect prompt), you will be allowed to cleanly reconnect after starting your game again and rejoin and continue playing.
This has happened to me countless times this year at this point. Several times daily.
