Game crashes to desktop and prevents rejoining after mission completion

Steps to Reproduce

1. (untested) crash game on a multiplayer game when group is about to board dropship. Try to rejoin game after crash using both invites and auto-reconnect dialogue.

Explanation

Game crashed to desktop. Restarted game and was asked to try to reconnect. An error dialogue appeared for less than one second then kicked me back to the menu. After several attempts, I was able to piece the error together that seemed to indicated that I was unable to reconnect because the party was as the end of the mission.

Unable to rejoin group after crash, no credit given after group finished without me.
