#488 Lithophage Meteorite Event Completing Instantly Without Required Actions

Playing on season 5, solo, as driller. Hazard 3, complexity and length 2 egg collection in Dense Biozone.
The lithophage meteorite dropped behind me as I went deeper into the cave.
Completed the primary and secondary objective after, and completed a tritilyte deposit machine event.
Went back for the meteorite before pressing the recall button.
Went up to the meteorite from below, climbed up through a fissure, and held E to request rock c*******.
The meteorite split open immediately afterwards, rewarding plaguehearts as normal.
As far as I could tell, the nano-bomb dispenser and my resupply dropped nowhere near, and did not drill through the terrain the meteorite was on.
Using minimal mods, like 'reduced E holding', but nothing else comes to mind as possibly related.
