Steps to Reproduce
- Have game in borderless windowed
- Change to fullscreen mode
- While paused, use WIN+Shift+arrow key to move application to another monitor
- Game will correctly be on the right monitor. Then switch back to borderless windowed, and the application will return to the incorrect monitor.
- Alternaritively, use WIN+Shift+arrow keys to change monitor while it is in borderless windowed
- The game will now be in bordered windowed mode on the correct monitor
- pause the game, change back to the desired resolution
- the game will then return to the incorrect monitor in borderless windowed
Explanation
I am first experiencing this bug after 700 hours of gameplay but it is now constantly affecting me, while in borderless windowed mode my game is stuck on the incorrect monitor, likely because my motherboard has designated it as monitor 1 so it is what the game defaults to. There is no option in game to change what monitor the game is displayed on, so when I use the WIN+Shift+arrow key feature to move the application from 1 monitor to another, it works until I press something on my mouse or keyboard and the application just goes straight back to monitor 1. It is extremely odd, out of the hundreds of games I've played this is the first time I've ever seen it. I don't know if this is what happens on everyone's machine but I have a video example of it.
In the video, my left monitor is the desired monitor, and after changed from fullscreen to borderless windowed, it changes to the undesired monitor.
