Steps to Reproduce

  1. Drg won't connect to internet, you've tried everything and nothing works, then this might.
  2. "netsh winhttp show proxy" to see if you have a proxy set
  3. "netsh winhttp reset proxy" to clear any proxies you do have set
  4. Drg will connect to internet

Explanation

Deep rock galactic was not able to access internet, I was not able to solve this for the longest time, I could not play multiplayer at all, couldn't access missions etc... I tried numerous solutions to this, uninstalled & reinstalled flushed dns cache restarted network drivers, many things, it was only an issue persisting with deep rock galactic. Finally after seeing this same issue with another app I found out the problem was my proxy settings, somehow it seemed I had some sort of proxy set up in my computer, unclear whether I did this or it was a default in the computer but using the command in cmd prompt "netsh winhttp show proxy" I was able to see it and I cleared it using "netsh winhttp reset proxy" which needs admin access in case it doesn't work for anybody else. Not sure if this is exactly a bug, but if anyone else has similar problems with internet connectivity and nothing else has worked, check this as well, it could very well be the problem.
