Steps to Reproduce

  1. Fire the Boltshark with the Bodkin Points overclock equipped into a surface that registers as 'ice' on the terrain scanner in the current Elite Deep Dive, usually within the area of the crashed drop pod.
  2. Vertical surfaces seem to trigger it more often than not, such as the icicles or walls.
  3. The visual of the electric field should seem to vanish after a moment or two, causing the bolt to become completely ineffectual.

Explanation

When using scout's secondary, the Boltshark crossbow, with the electric arrows mod for the special mod, specifically on Glacial Strata during this week's deep dive, the electric field of the arrows seems to fall through the map. The arrow can be seen in terrain, but the field rapidly vanishes from view, either following the arc of the arrow or falling straight into the ground and ignoring the impact location of the arrow. This made the mod entirely useless during the first stage of the deep dive that I attempted to use it for - if embedded in snow, rock, the ground in some places, engineer's platforms, or the like, the field will persist. However, if embedded in a wall made of ice, the field either immediately vanishes or seems to fall away, most frequently around the area of the damaged drop pod that came from the salvage portion of stage 1. This was in multiplayer, and seems to only occur with the Bodkin Points overclock equipped, and only sometimes at that. Along with this, cryo bolts have no visual for their AOE, and I assume fire bolts do not either, but cannot verify given I don't have the overclock yet (very sad). The AOE on cryo bolts still functions, however
