Difficulty Joining Sandbox Modded Server via Steam Friends

Steps to Reproduce

1. I go to my steam friends via alt-tab
2. I right click my friend's name and click "Join Game"
3. A dialog shows up in the game, I have to exit the Steam Interface via alt-tab
4. I click Join
5. The dialog disappears
6. My game reloads and I'm in MY space rig, alone.

Explanation

It's very difficult to join a sandbox modded server via Steam Friends

All the automation is broken regarding loading a sandbox save to join a sandbox server, never mind syncing those mods.

Especially if you don't have a sandbox save already saved.

But I was trying to join a friend's sandbox modded server via Steam Friends. As you can see in the video, I tried going through Steam Friends and ended up in the space rig, alone.

With further testing, I found that if I was FAST about my transitions, I could actually load a sandbox save; but the dialogs were disappearing so quickly, most folks wouldn't know what they were saying before they'd disappeared. Especially if they haven't used sandbox mods before.

Olaf had the additional problem of not being able to save a sandbox save after having deleted and old one, as per bug #767, so he never even got to see the second dialog box.
