- Run into a Korlok
- Let it spawn new sprouts for several cycles
- Observe the beginning of lag during the third health bar
Explanation
Korlok lags host, then ceases spawning sprouts. Consistent with every korlok since I installed the game 1000 hours ago.
I host DRG consistently on Haz 5. I use zero mods and no unusual settings that I'm aware of. Whenever a Korlok Tyrant Weed spawns, it can go 4 or 5 cycles of spawning new sprouts before it begins to lag my host copy of DRG, slowing down how quickly my host tells the clients that the korlok has shut itself against damage. This often gives players enough spare time to finis****s last healthbar.
However, if players fail to kill the korlok a few more sprouting cycles after it begins to lag, it can simply cease spawning new sprouts, the korlok becomes invincible, and I remain laggy until the mission is cleared.
I can snip video evidence of this entire cycle in real gameplay if it'll help. I'm reaching out now because i've been playing with some worse players, and they're failing to kill the Korlok often enough to cause the entire session to become laggy for me.

Note that this behavior has been consistent through the entire time i've played DRG, and there are no other similar behaviors. It is only the Korlok that causes it--as seen in the video--and only I, the host, experience the performance drop.
New example of the bug. I've had 3 korloks since the last example of the bug. This third one simply stopped spawning, and then DRG lagged more and more until the mission was done.
