Explanation

The game continuously is "not responding" in my task manager and freezes both during launch and during the game - it seems to suddenly eat up all my CPU and/or GPU. I am, after much patience and effort, able to join missions, but I cannot actually play/move my dwardf, I can only hear and sometimes watch my colleagues play. Enemies attack me but do not do damage, and once my colleagues have waited for the drop-pod timer to time out, the mission succeeds and counts towards any assignments I'm running, but I can't actually play. I managed to tilt the graphics down to the lowest settings/limit FPS, but this did not seem to help. This is a new issue since the March 2nd/3rd Y8 patch. I am not sure what other information to provide as the game does not actually crash or provide any error logs, it just freezes.
