ESC key sometimes fails to cancel Forge menu, resets list of craftables instead

Steps to Reproduce

1. Accessed the Forge
2. Scrolled down the list, crafted two weapon skin sets
3. It filled the Forging Mastery and I selected the Engineer reward (Return To Sender)
4. Clicked 'Continue'
5. Attempted to press ESC multiple times to leave, but it refreshed the list of craftables instead
6. Manually dragged the vertical slider to the start
7. Successfully closed the menu on ESC press

Explanation

Pressing ESC in the Forge menu may sometimes fail to cancel the menu and will reset/scroll the available overclocks instead. AI butchered my reproduction steps. They may not be the exact steps as I cannot perform the same actions due to the nature of the Forge. I will list my exact steps instead:
