Steps to Reproduce
- Select Play.
- Then either killer or survivor.
- Go to the "Characters" tab on the left side panel.
- Select a survivor or killer of your choosing.
- Click on "Customizations"
- Hover your mouse over the preset dropdown menu on the upper right-side corner of the customization screen
- Hit enter and rename it to anything of your choosing.
- Repeat six~seven times.
- The error should pop up somewhere down the line.
Explanation
So, whenever I change a character customisation (that is, cosmetic, not perk loadout) preset''s name, it won't stay that way for long before displaying an error message and reverting to default "Preset 1", "Preset 2" and so on and so forth denominations.
For instance, my Nemesis Preset 1 is the original RE skin from 1999, so I changed it to "Classic" or "Classic Nemesis" and such, but eventually I get a message saying "Something went wrong when trying to update the Loadaout. Please try again."
Twice I even got booted to the main menu, with a message reading "Failed to create a party." and once I even got a server error which unfortunately I didn't get to screenshot. Note that this also happened when trying to rename customisation presets for The First (Henry Creel/Vecna), The Lich (the original Vecna), The Mastermind (Albert Wesker) Jill Valentine, and Cheryl Mason.
I LOVE the feature to rename our cosmetic presets. It's arguably the greatest QoL feature you guys have implemented in a LONG while (since the addition of extra presets, probably!), so seeing how it doesn't work makes my DbD heart sad.
PS: Note that this is NOT a duplicate of previous bugs claiming that there's no button to change the name of customisation presets. I DO HAVE the option to do so, except it gets bugged AFTERWARDS.
