Steps to Reproduce
- Launch Dead by Daylight
- Reach the main menu
- Attempt to queue for a match (any mode)
- Wait for matchmaking to start
- Observe the error message: 'Disconnected from host. Failed to validate account through Easy Anti-Cheat (error code 0)'
Explanation
I am encountering a persistent issue when trying to play Dead by Daylight. The game launches normally, and I am able to access the main menu without any problems. However, when I attempt to queue for a match, I receive the following error message:
"Disconnected from host. Failed to validate account through Easy Anti-Cheat (error code 0)."
This issue prevents me from entering any matches, making the game unplayable.
I have already attempted several troubleshooting steps, including:
Deleting the Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) folder and repairing it to reinstall
Reinstalling the entire game
Restarting my internet connection
Searching for solutions online, but none have resolved the issue
The problem persists consistently every time I try to queue for a match.
