I am sensitive to frame-rate variations, but cannot play at 60 FPS due to headaches etc.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Play on the Trickster's Delusion Map on at least Medium graphics

Explanation

Trickster's Delusion map runs quite poorly and is not well optimized, especially when compared to the majority of the other maps.

The main street that runs up the middle of the map tanks performance when looking towards the market area. The market itself chews up frames considerably, even on performing hardware (RTX 3070 + Ryzen 7 5700x).

Frame-rates tank when the fireworks are set off as well.

Playing on Ultra settings pegs my GPU at 98% usage, and FPS drops from 120 down to 108, causing inconsistent input latency. Dropping settings to High boosts frame-rates back up to a near-perfect 120, but GPU usage remains at 98%. Lowering settings even more to Medium results in perfect 120 FPS, however the GPU usage only goes down by roughly 10-15%. It's not until playing on the Lowest graphics preset does the GPU usage fall down to ~66% usage.

There are simply too many things being rendered on screen, or too few optimisations made for this map. If I have OBS Studio running as well, I have to resort to XeSS upscaling to maintain consistent input latency and frame-times.
