Explanation
Hello,
I've been having trouble accessing the game for several weeks now.
As soon as I launch the game, I get stuck with the message: "EAC client cannot be instantiated".
Today, I also received the message: "You have been disconnected from the server because the game host's account could not be validated by Easy Anti-Cheat (error code 0)", and upon restarting, I got the first message again. It is impossible for me to enjoy the game, which is very frustrating.
I have already tried several troubleshooting steps:
- Completely reinstalling the game
- Verifying the game files
- Restarting my internet router
- Running various commands via the CMD command prompt
If I try to open the EasyAntiCheat software manually, a window opens for a split second and then nothing happens.
This is the only game causing this issue for me. I tested another game that also uses the EasyAntiCheat software, and I had absolutely no problem; I can play it just fine.
But that is not the case with Dead by Daylight.
I cannot provide my Player ID because it is impossible for me to get past the main menu.
It has been like this for several weeks already. I was able to play it once on July 8th, and since then, nothing...
