Disconnection Results in Matchmaking Lock-out and Grade Reset

Status: Pending Moderation
Priority:
Critical

Due date:
Reported for:
Actual Result:
A single disconnect, either manually or from a server issue, results in a matchmaking penalty and a Grade loss for the Killer player
Expected Result:
Singular disconnects should only give a single Disconnection point, which should be erased after playing 20 normal games, and there should be no Grade loss from disconnections playing Killer, only from attempting to "go-next" as Survivor.
Severity:
Major
Reproducibility:
Always
Platform:
Steam
Additional Notes & Comments:
After the Dedicated server is not responding disconnect, I had a "Priority queue" icon next to my Play button, and played a Survivor game before the game where I was disconnected, so it appears the system forgot about the game I was disconnected from and left me in the priority queue from my Play-While-You-Wait Survivor game.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Get disconnected from a match, either from Dedicated server not responding, or manually disconnecting.
  2. Despite it being only a single disconnection, you will get a 15 minute matchmaking lock-out, and lose an entire Grade.

Explanation

Disconnected from a game as Killer due to "Dedicated server not responding," error, the first time I was disconnected that day, and I got a matchmaking lock-out AND lost an entire Grade, with no warning or message indicating the reason for either. I also manually disconnected a single time right before Grade reset, due to a flashlight exploiter, and also got a matchmaking lock-out and despite knowing I was Iri 1 Killer and Iri 1 Survivor, when I logged in on Grade reset day, I was told I was Iri 1 Survivor, and Iri 2 Killer, meaning that single disconnect also removed an entire Grade, again with no message letting me know.
