Explanation

Trappers traps are invisible to survivors on the basement stairs! I did wonder why a killer that is barely seen once in a week, has suddenly been appearing at least 5 times in one day. Turns out people are exploiting the fact that Trappers traps are not showing up for survivors on the basement stairs. It’s either the same glitch/bug from before that hides the traps from view by them being placed under the step or they’re entirely invisible. And therefore unsuspecting survivors are stepping in them because they’re invisible on their screens!
