Explanation

The Hag – Phantasm Traps can trigger immediately when placed with Rusty Shackles

When playing The Hag with the Rusty Shackles add-on equipped, a Phantasm Trap can sometimes trigger immediately when the trap is being placed, even though no Survivor is within its trigger range.

The trap is consumed as if it had been legitimately triggered by a Survivor.

The issue appears to occur specifically during the trap placement action. If the trap is successfully placed without triggering, I have not observed it randomly triggering later without a Survivor entering its trigger range.

In my experience, this appears to happen more frequently when placing a trap near a recently hooked Survivor, especially immediately after hooking them. However, it can also occur in other situations and locations.

So far, I have only confirmed this behavior while using Rusty Shackles. I have not tested the other Hag add-ons or Hag without add-ons enough to determine whether Rusty Shackles is required for the issue.
