Explanation

Game Freezing Up Randomly for 1-1.5s from Time to Time. Started happening ONLY AFTER MOST RECENT UDPATE.

Oddly enough this seems to happen most when killer players are nearby me/chasing me, etc.

But sometimes it happens when I'm just on a generator, too.

The entire game will just suddenly freeze for 1s, for no apparent reason.
Happens during skill checks sometimes and during chases and it causes me to fail both, so it's literally ruining matches for me.

I tried verifying the game files on steam. Didn't change anything.
I tried updating my computer nvidia graphics driver, doing syscheck in command prompt, checking for viruses, etc, etc, etc. Didn't work.

I checked task manager and the "3D" under GPU actually spiked all the way down, during the freezes. Which, at least according to chatgpt, means that it is not my computer struggling, but rather the game itself having issues for some reason.

Oddly enough though I can't seem to find any other posts from people, saying they're having these freezes.... So wth? I see posts about freezes and crashes but that seemed to be all posted during the anticheat test bhvr did.

I had some freezes during that anticheat test, and assumed it was cause of that.

But now after that has been removed, and in this newest dbd update, I'm STILL having freezes. I think it's actually happening more so than it was during that anticheat test update.

Idk how that's possible.
