Whenever a generator is completed, earn 1 token, up to 5.

For each token:

  • You bless and cleanse Totems 8/9/10% faster.
  • You heal 8/9/10% faster.
  • You unhook Survivors 8/9/10% faster.
A Place For Us

While healing another Survivor, you both gain Elusive.

Whenever you finish healing the Obsession, you both gain Elusive for 20/25/30s.

When the trial starts, you are less likely to be the Obsession.

Five Moves Ahead

While you are in the Killer's Terror Radius or being chased:

  • You see the Auras of the 5 closest pallets and windows.
  • After you drop a pallet, you can start moving 50% earlier.
  • Whenever you drop a pallet, cooldown: 40/35/30s.

Killer Update — The Trickster
Summary
  • Gains Style Points by throwing Blades, injuring Survivors, and performing distinct gameplay actions back‑to‑back.
  • Ranks up Style Ranks by earning Style Points.
  • Each Style Rank improves Blade throw rate and locker restock speed.
  • Main Event can now only be activated at the highest Style Rank.
  • New UI element tracks Style Points and Ranks.
Basekit Changes
  • Movement speed decreased to 4.4 m/s (was 4.6).
  • Blade count decreased to 36 (was 44).
  • Terror Radius decreased to 24m (was 32m).
  • Enter Throw State time decreased to 0.3s (was 0.35s).
  • Exit Throw State time decreased to 1.15s (was 1.25s).
  • Time between blade throws increased to 0.33s (was 0.3s).
  • Base Throw‑State movement speed increased to 3.86 m/s (was 3.68 m/s).
Throw State Movement Penalties
  • After 5 consecutive throws → movement drops to 3.53 m/s.
  • After 10 consecutive throws → movement drops to 3.16 m/s.
Throw Rate Increases
  • After 5 consecutive throws → throw rate +50%.
  • After 10 consecutive throws → throw rate +100%.
Laceration
  • Laceration now only counts whole numbers (no decimal decay).
  • Laceration Meter decreased to 6 (was 8).
  • Laceration Meter decay delay decreased to 12s (was 15s).
  • Laceration stack decay time increased to 4.4s (was 3s).
Visual Changes
  • Laceration is now shown directly on the Survivor (visible to both sides).
  • Laceration cuts removed from the Survivor HUD UI.
Style Points

The Trickster generates Style Points by performing combo actions.
A combo action occurs when two back‑to‑back gameplay actions are different.

  • Hitting a Survivor with a Blade (first hit only)
  • Injuring a Survivor (Laceration or Basic Attack)
  • Hooking a Survivor
  • Basic‑breaking a downed pallet
  • Basic‑breaking a breakable wall
  • Damaging a generator
  • Snuffing a Boon Totem
Actions that generate 2 Style Points
  • Hitting a Survivor with 4 Blades from at least 4m without missing or ending Throw State
  • Hitting a Survivor with a Blade from 16m+
  • Interrupting a Survivor

Style Ranks

There are 6 Style Ranks: E, D, C, B, A, S.

General Rules
  • Each rank increases maximum throw rate and locker restock speed.
  • Higher ranks require more Style Points.
  • Higher ranks have shorter combo timers.
  • If the combo timer expires, you drop to the previous rank.
  • Earning Style Points refreshes the timer.
  • Combo timers pause during interactions (Survivors or objects).
S-Rank
Upon Reaching S-Rank
  • Survivors within 44m are revealed via Killer Instinct for 4.4s.
  • All Survivors are notified across the Trial.
While in S-Rank
  • Terror Radius becomes 44m.
  • Lullaby disabled.
  • Laceration decays 50% slower.
  • Maximum throw and restock speeds active.
  • Main Event becomes available.
Timer
  • S-Rank has a 66s combo timer.
  • Cannot be paused or refreshed.
  • Always returns to E-Rank (timer expiry or after Main Event ends).
Main Event

Press the Secondary Ability button to activate.

General Changes
  • Duration: 10s (was 8s)
  • Movement speed: 3.92 m/s
  • Throw speed: 1.67× base rate
    (not affected by consecutive‑throw or Style Rank modifiers)
While Active
  • S-Rank timer pauses.
  • Each Blade hit grants bonus Style Points.
  • Survivors near Trickster are notified.
  • Can cancel with Secondary Ability.
When It Ends
  • Power cooldown: 4s
  • S-Rank resets to E-Rank
  • Trickster gains Style Ranks over time based on bonus points earned during Main Event.

Memento Blades (Rework)

Displays a reticle while aiming.

Trick Pouch
  • Increases max Blade count by 4.
  • Start the Trial with 4 extra Blades.
Killing Part Chords (Rework)

Increases the decay timer for Style Ranks D → A by 20%.

Inferno Wires (Rework)

Decreases Showstopper cooldown after Main Event by 44%.

Ji‑Woon's Autograph (Rework)

Increases Main Event duration by 44%.

Lucky Blade (Rework)

Every eighth Blade Hit grants one of:

  • Throw Speed +8% for 8s
  • 3% Haste for 3s
  • Gain 1 Style Point
Caged Heart Shoes (Rework)

After you basic‑break or damage a generator:

Next time you enter Throw State → movement speed +5% for 10s.

Tequila Moonrock (Rework)

Throw Speed +15% for 10s after gaining a Style Rank.

Bloody Boa (Rework)

Laceration decay speed decreased by 25%.

On Target Single (Rework)

Time before Laceration begins to decay increased by 30%.

Fizz‑Spin Soda (Rework)

Increases number of Blade Throws required to slow Throw‑State movement speed by 2.

When a Survivor’s Laceration fully decays → reveal them for 4s.

Ripper Brace (Rework)

For each Style Rank:

Increases locker reload speed by 25%.

Blades can bounce once.

Increases Worldbreaker Timer by 2.5s for each living Survivor.

Forged Death Certificate (Rework)

For every successful Worldbreaker Token placed via Vine Attack → gain Undetectable until the next Worldbreaker Mode activation.

Rabbit Remains
  • Rarity changed: Rare → Very Rare.
  • Grants Exhausted for 10s, and increases Upside‑Down cooldown by 5s.
Broken Skateboard (Rework)

When Worldbreaker Mode starts:

The Ghoul
  • Reticule stickiness on Survivors reduced from 0.18s → 0.05s when attempting Kagune grabs.
  • Killer can no longer automatically damage nearby Survivors after Leap‑vaulting.

Starting in update 9.5.0, the following terms are standardized in Killer Power, Add‑On, and Perk descriptions:

Basic‑break

Breaking a pallet or wall with the Killer’s default ability.

Special‑break

Breaking a pallet or wall using a special power‑granted ability.

Basic‑vault

Vaulting a window using the Killer's default movement.

Vaulting a window or downed pallet using a power‑granted ability.

Damaging Generators

Default generator damage action.

Generator Explosions

Progress lost through Perks or Powers that trigger explosions.

  • Each Token grants the generator +2 permanent Charges.
Self‑Preservation (Rework)
  • When another Survivor is hooked, you gain Elusive for 20/25/30s.
  • Icon updated for clarity.
Unbreakable
  • Once per Trial, if downed by the Killer, you may fully recover.
  • While downed: recover 25/30/35% faster.
  • Now only grants the full recover ability when the Killer caused the downed state.
Killer Perk Updates
Forced Hesitation
  • Plot Twist can no longer force its activation outside Killer control.
Genetic Limits
  • Exhausted is now applied at the moment the Survivor loses a health state.
Hex: Crowd Control (Rework)
  • First time a Survivor medium/fast vaults a window → a Dull Totem ignites.
  • Last 4/5/6 windows vaulted at medium/fast speeds are blocked.
  • Killer basic‑vaults blocked windows 15% faster.
  • Killer sees the Auras of blocked windows within 24m.
Pop Goes the Weasel
  • For 35/40/45s after hooking a Survivor:
    • Damaging a generator causes it to explode and lose 15% of total progress
      (changed from 20% of current progress).
Terminus
  • Now triggers earlier when generators are completed.
  • Blocks Survivor healing actions that occur simultaneously with activation.
Perks Description Update

All Survivor and Killer Perk descriptions have been fully updated and rewritten
with simplified and consistent language.
