Steps to Reproduce
- Move forward at any pace
- Stop
- Turn 90-180 degrees
- Move forward at inaudible speed (constant stick deflection)
- Character will make a brief sound (rustling clothes or surface impact)
Explanation
Stopping, turning and going from stationary to moving forward at constant inaudible speed makes a brief noise that gives away your position. It can be as subtle as rustling clothes or as distinct as the clank in the first video, but the rattling chains audio effect of opposing players makes this a dead giveaway and renders stealth borderline impossible. The floor center mark is skipping when you go from stationary to moving in a way that I don't remember it doing before (second video). I suspect this bug might have been introduced as part of the changes to mitigate playspacing a few months back.
