Explanation
Quirks with bots in offline games
- Ghost bots returned by
IGame.GetActiveUsers()
To reproduce:
- Start an offline game with 16 slots enabled and place bots in the extra slots.
- Afterwards, start another offline game with 8 slots without first removing the bots from the extra slots.
The bots from the previous 16-slot game still appear in IGame.GetActiveUsers(), even though they are non-functional.
This stops happening if you create another game again after that.
- Bots share the host's
UserIdentifier
In offline games, bots appear to share the same UserIdentifier as the host. This causes their chat messages to become global.
