Explanation

When matchmaking if you leave the matchmaking area, you still get put into a match. It doesn't matter if you're in the matchmaking area for one second 10 seconds or a minute, and it doesn't matter if the words on the matchmaking screen have advanced past the first two lines. If you enter the match with the area, you will be put into a match even if you're back in the tent Looking at your inventory.
