Explanation
Brute AI in Reave is experiencing an exploitable loop where it can be stunlocked by a player using overhead swings with AOE knockback. When the brute makes impact with the ground, the player can rus**** from behind, avoiding the knockback effect. The brute then performs another AOE strike to push the player back, allowing the cycle to repeat indefinitely.
This issue was created from the following Discord message:
Small issue with the brute AI I noticed this playtest you can effectively stunlock him by getting him stuck in a loop over overhead swings with aoe knock back. He makes impact with the ground the player rushes him from behind (giggidy) avoiding the knock back effect. The brute does a other aoe strike to try and push the player back, rinse and repeat
I can create a little compilation to show this later. I think it used to occur before but not as repeatable
