SteamVR crashes almost immediately when running Reave on Linux with the newest version of SteamVR and ProtonGE 8, using a Quest 3 with ALVR.

This issue was created from the following Discord message:
I still haven't given up on trying to get thr game running on Linux 😭 so far using the newest version of steamvr and protonge 8 the game starts but crashes steamvr almost immediately. Currently running it on a quest 3 with alvr
