Make it so grenades have 2 throw modes. 1. the mode you have now where you need an empty off hand to get the guided throw. And 2. A mode where you literally throw it and don't need an empty hand to guide it. This will allow you to hold your gun and quickly throw a grenade over a small hill or through a door before entering without having to spend a long time setting it up, drop your gun and put yourself in harms way when all you need is a quick, short throw.
