Steps to Reproduce

  1. Trying to launch the game
  2. Onboarding process fails with a 'network connection error' using starlink
  3. All other games on the headset continue to work fine over the internet
  4. This issue has only arisen after the recent V1.0 update

Explanation

Hi, since the update I can't progress past the 'on boarding' stage when booting up the game. The process always stops with a Network Connection Failure. After about an hour of problem solving i was able to boot into the game by: 1) disconnecting my modem/router (starlink), 2) uninstall/reinstall the game, 3) reboot meta quest 3 headset, 4) connect to a different wifi network (my phone as a hotspot, but no internet as we live rurally), then reconnect to the starlink network after plugging in back in. After doing all those steps i was able to play a few matches fine. Today when i started the headset i was stuck again at Network Connection Failure. I tried 'forgetting' wifi and connecting to the phone hotspot again which got me past the network failure, but with no actual internet connection i couldn't boot into the game. I then tried reconnecting to my Starlink wifi but then got stuck at the usual point. So it seems without rebooting my modum/router every time i want to play i can't get into the game since the update.
