0 XP Assist Issue When Damaging Submerged Humvee with APC

Steps to Reproduce

1. Use an APC machine gun to damage a Humvee that is submerged in water
2. Have an external source hit the killing blow on said Humvee
3. You get an assist worth 0 XP

Explanation

Using the APC machine gun to damage a Humvee that is submerged in water which is then killed by an external source will result in an assist that gives you 0 XP. I don't know if those are the exact factors necessary but its the only situation I've seen that repeatedly results in this phenomenon.
