Steps to Reproduce
- After spawning, fire a bullet then hit the fire button again at about the time that the delay ends. The gun will sometimes jam.
- Reloading or reholstering usually fixes it.
- Fire until empty. Sometimes the weapon cannot be reloaded even after reholstering.
- Sometimes when trying to lock on, the talon won't fire even when locked.
- Sometimes the talon will fail to initiate the lock-on even though other players are locking on.
- Reholstering seems to fix this most of the time (there are times it doesn't).
Explanation
Weapons can Jam with no indicator of jamming.
Dragnuv is an example where even after the firing delay, after you fire the first bullet of that spawn, it still can't shoot again until you reload or holster it.
The first LMG that assault gets has a similar issue where if you fire until out of bullets, the magazine cannot be removed (It does not glow and can't be interacted with).
Additional notes: While this has happened before, today I noted a few of the conditions:
The server itself was lagging during these and froze/crashed a few maps after.
These are not the only weapons affected and other players on the team were experiencing similar issues with various weapons.
It did not seem to affect the enemy players who appeared to have been from a different server locale based on the language and accent
Enemies were noted to be taking reduced damage either from shots not registering or some other reason. Based on the number of bullets needed to kill the enemies compared to normal.
