Steps to Reproduce

1. While in the Meta menu, go to chat.
2. See your friend online.
3. A portal link appears, click and access.
4. The game shows that you're not able to join.

Explanation

Sometimes when I try to click the button to follow or keep up with my Meta friend in the game, I can't log in and it tells me I'm unable to access it, displaying an error message.
